The Caledonian Society of Cincinnati was formed in 1827, and is the oldest Caledonian Society in continuing existence in the United States. It was initially formed for the purpose of aiding indigent Scottish immigrants in the Cincinnati area. Elke plays Scottish, Celtic, and American fiddle music for concerts, festivals, dances, and parties across America and abroad.
